Todd Metlen is an award-winning product designer with over 35 years of experience creating innovative and aesthetically pleasing products. He is named as an inventor on more than two dozen patents and referenced in dozens more. Throughout his career, Todd has collaborated with prestigious global brands including BMW, Nokia, Microsoft, Porsche Design, Italdesign, Blue Microphones, AKG, JBL, and Mojave Audio. As one of the first employees at a Nokia funded startup, he played a pivotal role in launching the Vertu luxury mobile phone, developing groundbreaking solutions that seamlessly integrated precision electronics and mechanical assemblies with traditional materials such as leather, wood, and gemstones.

Todd's expertise spans a wide range of fields: in electronics, from analog vacuum tube amplifiers to miniature SMT circuitry; in mechanics, from blacksmithing to 5-axis CNC machining; and in materials, from hand-hewn wood to nano-particles. He leverages his extensive experience, profound knowledge, and diverse skill set at his Ventura, California design studio, equipped with cutting-edge machinery and a talented team capable of bringing any imaginative concept to life.
